• SandPipers Club SSI
An island social club intended to develop and maintain friendships through a variety of activities and outings.

Who We Are

Sandpipers was founded because a number of former Newcomers saw the need for a new social organization on the island.

Sandpipers is designed to offer as little or as much activity as a member chooses from Dining In and Dining Out to several group meetings throughout the year. Our meetings are typically parties with no agenda other than good food and fun with friends. Our club is small enough to host group meetings in a variety of different venues, often with fun themes coordinated with the time of year. Our plan is to offer additional activities for those within the group on a regular basis outings such as the Tapas Crawl earlier this year, excursions both locally and possibly farther afield, special interests such as book club, bridge, kayaking, etc. Sandpipers was founded in September of 2010 and currently has a membership of 103.
